Objective
It is our priority that you have a great experience on the water and that you not only have a great time but from the moment you step foot on the boat you feel secure and in good hands from start to finish. With the understanding that weather, tide and time of day can sometimes require flexibility, our principal objective is that we achieve your most desired charter experience while you are on the Folly River. You might even get to say hello to our furry mascot Uncle Charlie, a lovable Newfoundland Mix that loves the water as much as we do.
Safety
We have established a checklist that we use prior to your charter to ensure a smooth and safe experience for all. The checklist includes a full boat inspection including the Hull, Deck, Engine, Lights and Electronics and passenger safety essentials; proper floatation devices for each person on board and a First Aid Kit specifically equipped for boat charters. We will go over the location and storage of proper safety flotation devices and the location of the First Aid Kit prior to departure. In addition to our checklist we also go through a painless yet important introduction on the boat to make sure everyone has a fun, relaxed and safe experience during their charter.

It's time to sit back and enjoy the ride. Enjoy your private cruise around the Folly River where you will see bottlenose dolphins, the Morris Island Lighthouse and marshland wildlife. Depending on the time of day and your choice of charter you may even get to see the sunset on the Folly River which, in our opinion, is one of the best views you will experience while visiting Charleston. Please let us know if you have any specific goals for your charter, for example you'd like to spend most of your time exploring the beach surrounding Morris Island Lighthouse, or you want to just lay in the sun on a barrier island away from the busy beach traffic. Uncle Charlie's Charters will do our best to accommodate your ideal charter experience.
